Conservation day September 2020

We had a successful conservation day on Wednesday 9 September working on the frog pond in the woods and the orchard.

Volunteers from Friends of Palewell and TCV joined together to clear dead logs and other debris from the pond and cut down sucker growth under the trees in the orchard so that it can be rough cut later in the Autumn.   We also cleared away a lot of brambles and dead wood in the woodland and collected a lot of litter.
